Tom Smith

Tom is a 3rd generation San Diego native born and raised in East County. After purchasing his first home in 2009, remodeling and selling it for a profit, he was bitten by the Real Estate bug, earned his license in 2017, and has been helping people’s dreams come true ever since. With 25 years of sales experience, Tom is an expert at negotiating to get the best deal. He has honed his skills by learning from some of the top sales trainers like Tony Robbins. At a young age of 21 he was given the opportunity to work for Xerox’s largest dealership in the world where he worked his way up from basic business all the way to million-dollar machine deals. After seven years with Xerox, he improved his craft at AAA Insurance of California as an all-lines insurance agent at the top office in California.

Tom has been married to his wife for the past 14 years, sharing a family of 4 girls and their two dogs. In their spare time the family enjoys exploring San Diego and its sights, from the Borrego Sculptures to Julian and its amazing pies and knick knack shops where they have become honorary locals after visiting every weekend during their 4th pregnancy’s Woodfire Pizza cravings.

Tom has a knack of not just fitting people with their dream home, but forming long lasting friendships. He has seen clients start families in the home he helped them purchase. It’s not just a job, but a pleasure for Tom to help couples say things like “in 20 years we will be…” and looking toward their future whether that means selling their current place, or purchasing their dream home.
